Ways to Help Grow Your Hair Back
If you are trying to get your hair to grow back
or even get it to grow longer, then you have to know how to
take care of it properly. Here are some tips and ideas on how
to make your hair grow back.
1. As your hair grows longer you might feel you need to tie
it back to keep it out of your eyes. You can do this simply
by putting it back into a ponytail; just make sure it’s
not too tight so it doesn’t pull at your roots. Your hair
will need to be at least medium length in order to do this comfortably.
If you are unsure on how to make a good ponytail, simply ask
your Mom, sister or any female friends you have; it’s
actually not as easy as it might seem. You can also use bandannas
and beanie hats to restrain your hair.
For longer hair you can use braids, pigtails and clips to hold
it back. Don’t worry these styles are not just meant for
females anyone can use them. Don’t use rubber bands to
tie your hair back you can damage it.
2. Have some patience when growing your hair, it takes time
for hair to grow any length; until it reaches shoulder length
you might not be too happy with its looks. If you are starting
from a really short hairstyle or even a shaved head, it will
take at least 6 months to a year or more for it to gain any
kind of length. Don’t give up, it will get there - just
give it time.
3. Use conditioner when washing your hair and also use leave
in conditioner to help it from becoming dried out.
4. When you brush your hair, be gentle with it and don’t
pull at knots and tangles you are only damaging your hair that
way; also it can hurt. Instead, hold the hair just before the
knot and brush or comb at the knot until it comes out. This
will protect your scalp and it won’t hurt so much.
5. Don’t brush your hair when it is wet, this is the
perfect way to damage your hair. Your hair is actually weaker
when it’s wet and brushing it will cause breakage. Instead
use a wide tooth comb when it’s wet, and use a boar’s
hair brush when it’s dry.
6. When your hair is long you will find the wind will blow
it around a lot. In the winter, use one of the methods stated
above to restrain the hair. Some might be lucky enough to have
thick, heavy hair that will stay put in the wind.
7. You can still grow out your hair even if you are getting
bald spots; just look at some famous people who have done it
like Hulk Hogan!
8. If you are in the awkward stage of growing your hair, try
styling it in different ways to make it look better; like making
it spikier so it won’t cover your eyes.
